Adelaide-based company Ecas4 Australia approached Icarus to design and develop Australia’s first and only WaterMark™ certified inline electrochemical system.
The eBooster™ system was aimed at large scale facilities in the medical, industrial, commercial and recreational sectors.
The client also engaged Icarus to design and develop a range of marketing collateral to promote the product, including a new brand, product labelling, packaging, technical animation and website.

Successful products are a skilful blend of marketing and technical requirements.
Inside the eBooster™, an electrolysis system is used to eliminate microorganisms. The eBooster™ is made to three different sizes to suit a variety of needs; 250, 2K and 10K.

The design and colours of the brand took its visual cues from the eBooster™ inline disinfection process. The linework also mirrors the outer casing of the eBooster™.
The tagline Safe water. Engineered. reflects the scientific basis of the process behind the eBooster™ that is so important in a health-related product. It provides a clear, succinct statement that describes both the purpose of the product and a key point of difference in a crowded market.

The website was an essential tool to support the release of the eBooster™ system. A clean layout structure was used with visually engaging imagery to inform and encourage prospective buyers to have an eBooster™ system installed into their facilities.
Carefully structured data comparison tables provide clear, easily understood examples of points of difference with other water sanitisation methods. Presenting complex data in clear and simple ways is important in all facets of design, especially when presented on screen.

A video animation was created to help explain the installation and disinfection process, it highlights all of the features and benefits of the eBooster™ system and provides the visitor with a clear visual understanding of how eBooster™ fits into a modern industrial scale water supply system.
A suite of other marketing collateral including a pull-up banner, brochure and magazine ad were designed to promote the eBooster™ system. Icarus is unique in our ability to provide a broad spectrum of design services to effectively market your products and services.
