The Australian Drilling Industry Association Ltd (ADIA) represents drilling contractors, suppliers, consultants and regulators. It is a not-for-profit organisation with about 800 members. Members’ businesses are active in the minerals exploration, mining, coal seam gas, groundwater and civil infrastructure sectors. The ADIA assists members to operate at the forefront of drilling technology, increase safety, boost productivity and improve business outcomes.
Icarus Design was commissioned by ADIA to update their existing corporate identity and a range of marketing collateral including stationery, banners, safety posters, media assets and the Australasian Drilling Magazine masthead.
The upgraded ADIA brand is comprised of triangles that represent the various sectors within the association. The logo embeds the colours of the diverse landscapes that reflect the working environments of ADIA members. The brand includes an eye-catching and memorable logo with a clear statement of the association’s name to promote rapid and accurate identification.
